CS 240B Microsoft Windows Server Admin II

The second of two courses in the administration of Microsoft WindowsÎÂ client/server networked operating systems. The courses CS240A & B are laboratory-intensive courses and provide hands-on experience in the planning, installation, and administration of Microsoft WindowsÎÂ client/server networks. The two courses help students prepare for Microsoft exams in entry-level system administration.




Prerequisite: CS 240A Microsoft Windows Server Administration I with a grade of C or better.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Design, build and test Active Directory Domain Service. Plan, build and test Group Policy Objects. Plan, build and test Hyper-V services. Develop and test centralized Security Policies. Explain, configure and test firewall settings, rules and filters.
