Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Analyze raw clinical information from all outpatient settings and choose the proper Evaluation and Management code for reimbursement. Demonstrate competency in procedural and diagnostic coding for the following systems: Digestive; Male Urinary and Genital systems; Female Genital and Reproductive systems; Endocrine system; Nervous system; Eyes and Ears. Demonstrate competency in procedural and diagnostic coding for the following special sections of the current procedural terminology manual: Anesthesia; Radiology; Pathology/Laboratory; and Medicine.
