Governance and Accreditation

Supported by tuition, local property taxes and state revenue, the college is directed by an elected, seven-member board of education.

Linn-Benton Community College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Northwest Association of Colleges and Universities. Courses are approved by the Higher Education Coordinating Commission, and lower-division courses are approved for transfer to colleges and universities in the Oregon University System.
