Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify swine breeds and their significance within U.S swine industry. Explain production trends in the U.S swine industry over past 100 years. Develop a herd health program and perform critical husbandry skills. Identify anatomy and describe functions of the swine digestive and reproductive systems. Communicate current issues facing swine producers and identify profitable marketing avenues.
