AU3. 351 Shop Skills II
Teaches students proper and safe usage of common automotive pullers, presses, Torch setup, basics of wire feed welding, and usage of plasma cutter. Provides preparation to take certification tests offered by the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3), and by the Fiat Chrysler Association (FCA).

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Practice safety precautions to protect yourself, vehicles, and the environment. Prepare a torch to be used for heating a press fit part. Gain certifications through the Fiat Chrysler Association (FCA) Career Automotive Program (CAP). Analyze threaded fastener options and / or repair. Develop a strategy for achieving proper tension on a threaded fastener.
