Gives practical field experience in climbing and tree work. Taught by certified arborists, emphasizing safety and skill. Note: Limited enrollment. Requires personal protective equipment.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify and manage potential hazards at a typical arboriculture tree care worksite Access, rig, and climb broadleaf and coniferous trees of various sizes. Perform pruning and other tree management work while suspended in the tree canopy.
