AU3. 350 Shop Skills I
Teaches students to properly fill out work orders and obtain parts requisition information, and understand safe usage and proper selection of hand and electrical tools. Provides preparation to take certification tests offered by the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3), and by the Fiat Chrysler Association (FCA).

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Practice safety precautions to protect yourself, vehicles, and the environment. Prepare repair orders and parts requisition orders for customers. Identify, apply and assess proper use of automotive hand tools. Research vehicle repair information. Select proper precision measurement equipment and interpret the results. Gain certifications through the Fiat Chrysler Association (FCA) Career Automotive Program (CAP).
