PFW 131 Introduction to Pipe Processing and Preparation
Emphasizes safety and equipment familiarization for cutting pipe and preparing pipe for welding. Includes the use of different methods for cutting and prepping pipe, as well as selecting size and material type.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Use fuel cutting equipment safely. Set up and operate shears and band saws. Identify and name the components necessary to operate pipe cutting equipment. Perform beveling with commonly used hand tools. Utilize industry-standard beveling techniques and material preparation.
