R 103 Religions of Eastern World
Surveys cultures and religions of the eastern world with a focus on the teaching of compassion and tolerance in these religions. Includes understandings of Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, and Sikhism.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Demonstrate awareness and insight of other world religions. Recognize and articulate the diverse issues related to eastern religions. Draw relationships from eastern cultures and beliefs in a process of self exploration for greater personal understanding. Use analytical and critical thinking to draw reasonable conclusions.
