DA5. 463 Dental Radiology III
Covers advanced X-ray clinical application of dental radiographic procedures and skills proficiency for periapical and bitewing X-rays. Includes exposing radiographs on patients in the radiology labs. Places an emphasis on identification of errors and corrective techniques.
Prerequisite
DA5. 462 with a grade of C or better.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Recognize, and interpret radiographic qualities. Apply their knowledge while performing and operating x-ray equipment in a clinical setting. Prepared for the radiological proficiency certificate as defined by the Oregon Health Radiation Protect Rule OAR 333-106-005 (1).
