Focuses on the scoring rules for respiratory events, cardiac events and limb movements as recommended by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), Includes scoring rules for pediatric studies and home sleep monitoring tests as well.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) standards for scoring respiratory, cardiac, and limb movements during sleep studies. Generate reports and calculate standard sleep study report equations. Describe AASM scoring rules for home sleep studies. Describe AASM pediatric scoring rules.
