Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Write technical documents using such strategies as narration, definition, comparison/contrast, classification, description, examples, process analysis, cause and effect, and persuasion. Identify and target an audience, purpose, and situation. Write in a variety of formats including purchase orders, accident reports, summaries, and bids. Revise and edit their material to reflect college-level grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation. Review and analyze technical reports.
