Introduces students to the problem-solving process in many fabrication and repair of welded structures and piping system applications.

Prerequisite:
WLD 220 Fabrication Practices IV with a grade of C or better.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify the problem(s) to be solved. Evaluate the extent of the problem(s) using measuring devices. Compare measured values against allowable tolerances per specifications. Examine replacement vs. repair costs. Formulate a plan for solving the problem. Apply the correction method to achieve the desired result.
