Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Understand the chemical and cellular basis of life. Describe the relationship between structure and function at each level of biological organization, from molecule to organism. Understand homeostasis, and the importance and function of homeostatic mechanisms. Describe how various plants and animals carry out life processes, support, movement, gas exchange, transport, defense, sensation, waste disposal. reproduction, etc. Use microscopes, chemical apparatus, and software, pH meter, spectrophotometer, EKG, etc.
