CIS 197 Content Management Systems
Content management systems are software system providing website authoring, collaboration, and administration tools designed to allow users with little knowledge of web programming languages or markup languages to create and manage website content with relative ease. Web developers are often tasked with setting up and maintaining such systems and their constituent parts.

Prerequisite: CS 133J Javascript with a C or better.

Differentiate between static and dynamically generated web pages. Understand the role of a content management systems. Setup a content management system complete with a content repository. Create appropriate templates foruse with content management system. Administer a content management system including creating various types of user accounts.
