Continues intermediate pipe processing. Includes an in-depth approach to the fit up and cutting of saddles to fabricate pipe joints.

PFW 132 Intermediate Pipe Processing and Preparation with a grade of C or higher.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Use oxy/fuel and plasma cutting, shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) equipment safely. Use fabrication shop equipment safely. Set up and operate oxy/fuel, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW equipment within correct operating parameters. Set up and operate pipe shop equipment. Generate the layout of pipe saddles. Demonstrate the ability to bevel and fit pipe joints.
