MT3. 821 Electrical Systems Troubleshooting
Uses electrical troubleshooting theory in troubleshooting common electrical problems: low voltage, high voltage, unwanted resistance, open circuits, high resistance shorts to ground, and current and voltage unbalance. Covers efficiency technology and sustainable practices.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Apply electrical theory to troubleshoot common electrical problems such as shorts, opens, and faulty components. Use effective troubleshooting methodology to locate and fix electrical problems. Use digital multimeters safely and effectively to measure current, resistance, and voltage. Calculate expected voltage, resistance, and/or current in industrial circuits using Ohm's law. Follow a schematic to wire electric circuits in both series and parallel.
