MT3. 898 Capstone Project II
Students continue the fabrication of their automated mechatronics project. Includes work on design, troubleshooting system faults, and optimizing system operation. Requires substantial research activity and lab time.

MT 3.897 with a grade of C or better.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Work effectively with a team (of 3 or 4) to plan and organize a mechatronics project. Submit a project plan for approval to instructor. Demonstrate progress toward mechatronics project completion and submit weekly progress reports to instructor. Present mechatronics project to classmates & mechatronics instructors via PowerPoint or other presentation software. Demonstrate preparation for third-party industry-based assessments and/or certifications.
