Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify anatomy and understand functions of monogastric and ruminant digestive systems. Understand difference between basic nutrients and explain digestion and absorption of each. Identify critical livestock feedstuffs and describe the composition and functional uses of each. Describe types of livestock feed processing.
