WW6. 172 Industrial Pretreatment & Stormwater Control
This is the beginning of a sequence of classes dealing with wastewater treatment and stormwater control. This course covers the monitoring, regulation, and treatment of industrial wastewater discharges into public treatment systems. The second focus of this course is the collection and handling of stormwater in public treatment systems.
Prerequisite
Prerequisite: WW 6.190 Introduction to Environmental Technology with a grade of C or better.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify State and Federal regulatory requirements covering industrial pretreatment and stormwater control. Recall various industries and manufacturing processes and their impact on wastewater facilities. List methods of handling stormwater in pubic treatment systems and collection systems.
