This course covers basic concepts relevant to drinking water treatment and applies them to common laboratory techniques (e.g. alkalinity, hardness, turbidity, Jar Test, PA test, chlorine residual).

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Concepts and skills learned include, identifying and performing drinking water lab tests, understanding why each test is performed, understanding the rationale for each method, and understanding Quality Assurance Quality Control measures.
