Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Describe the importance of the budgeting process and how it facilitates the planning and control processes of an organization. Calculate and interpret standard business ratios including: current, inventory turnover, gross margin (profit), ROA, ROE, EPS, and A/R Days. Discuss the difference between markup and margin. Calculate break-even points and units needed to make profit levels. Calculate working capital and estimate minimum cash reserves. Track cash flows for an organization.
