Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Analyze 8-10 important films produced in the U.S. and Europe between 1968 and 1999. Apply critical, theoretical, and historical approaches to effectively analyze films. Analyze the relationships between film and culture by examining key historical events that occurred in the U.S. and Europe between 1968 and 1999. Apply critical media literacy skills to evaluate how film shapes and records the human experience.
