Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Categorize two-dimensional shapes and three-dimensional solids based upon their characteristics and compute basic measurements. Employ concepts of length, area, volume and angle measure to solve application problems. Demonstrate knowledge of geometric reasoning and proofs. Communicate mathematical concepts and relationships in a variety of ways: written, verbal, and by demonstration.
