CMA 230 Pharmacology Medical Office II

This course prepares the student to describe the relationship between the anatomy and physiology of each body system as it relates to pathology and treatment with medications.

Prerequisite: CMA 130 Pharmacology Medical Office I with a grad of C or better.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Describe the relationship between anatomy and physiology and the medications being taken as it relates to the patients disease process. Educate patients regarding their medications. Know the top 50 medications prescribed and their common uses and side effects.
