HE 120 Disease Detectives

This course examines human disease and its underlying causes from a public health perspective. Students explore how scientific investigation identifies true causes of disease, the challenges of incomplete or misleading data, and how evidence informs disease prevention. The course emphasizes understanding biological and biophysical processes, evaluating data and health outcomes, and communicating findings to support public health decision-making.
