MTOL 215 CNC V: Multi-Axis Mill
Provides training and learning experiences in Computer Numeric Control (CNC) technology. Includes training on safe CNC operation skills that are applicable to a number of different CNC machines and controls. Focuses on safe machine setup and operation. Includes other topics such as fixturing, tooling, and programming considerations for multiple axis machining.
Prerequisite
MTOL 214 CNC IV: MACHINING STRATEGIES with a grade of C or better.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Demonstrate good CNC machine operator skills. Set multiple machine WCS (Work Coordinate System) offsets. Select the proper holders for various tooling required for program. Set tooling offsets manually and with tool setter. Utilize advanced CNC control functions. Utilize in-machine probing functions.
