MUS 271 Audio Engineering I

The first course in a three-course sequence. Develops the tools to work and function as a recording engineer in a live concert and studio recording environment. Includes studio and room acoustics, microphone selection and positioning, recording technology, tracking, audio editing, signal processing, recording process, workflow, and professionalism.
