Provides beginning group instruction in piano skills designed for music majors and non-music majors. Includes some basic instruction in music reading and proper piano technique including posture, fingering, reading, and more.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Demonstrate proper piano posture and technique. Identify notes and rhythms on the grand staff. Perform all major and minor 5-finger patterns hands together. Perform all major and minor triads and inversions. Perform simple repertoire in 5-finger positions using both hands.
